Chadwick Lawrence Support KACCL and Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice
On 3rd May 2017, Chadwick Lawrence solicitors presented the proceeds of last year’s Kirklees and Calderdale Charity Lunch (KACCL) which helped to raise over £18k for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
The KACCL (Kirklees and Calderdale Charity Lunch) was created in 2016 in order to raise valuable funds for local charities with the help from several local businesses. Members from the individual businesses come together to help organise and host an exciting charity lunch in aid of a host of charities all based within the Kirklees and Calderdale area.
Modelled on the already successful Wakefield Annual Charity Christmas Lunch, the KACCL team hope that this year’s event will be just as great a success. The proceeds of this year’s event, to be held on the 7th of December at Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top, are to be shared between Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and Orange Box in Halifax, who provide safe art and sports facilities for young people in the centre of Halifax.
Chadwick Lawrence was one of several businesses involved in organising the event, and were the official sponsors of the entertainment on the night. Other local businesses involved with KACCL include JR Group, Crowther’s Accountants, Stafflex, Faith PR and many more.
Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice are a pioneering children’s hospice, providing support for any family who have been confronted with the news that their child has a life-shortening condition from as early as pregnancy onwards. They are determined to transform the world of children’s hospices and taking a fresh and creative approach to the services they offer by listening and responding to children and their families.
More information can be found regarding the Kirklees and Calderdale Charity Lunch 2017 on the website, with tickets priced at £50 per person.
