Chadwick Lawrence Raise Money for Alzheimer’s Society

On Saturday the 24^th September the Wills & Probate team at Chadwick Lawrence took part in the 6k Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk at Temple Newsam.

Raising money for a cause that will have touched a lot of people lives, dementia can happen to anyone and there’s currently no cure. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and the number is set to rise to 1 million by 2021.  The Alzheimer’s Society supports people with dementia living in our community as well as funding research vital into this life changing illness.

Sarah Crowther, Lisa Baker, Rachel Bedford and Sue Preece all completed the 6k event to raise money for a world without dementia. In the process, they are delighted to announce that they have raised nearly £500 in total which will help to fund new research and provide support to more families across the UK.
