Chadwick Lawrence Launch New HR Offering with Banana Moon

Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors, otherwise known as Yorkshire’s Legal People, have launched a new HR offering following a pilot with Birstall based Banana Moon Personalised Clothing.

The Employment Team’s new HR offering uses the extensive knowledge and expertise of its HR Team at Chadwick Lawrence, to provide HR business support for companies that do not have the capacity to manage their HR function in-house.

The Chadwick Lawrence HR service provides these businesses with a comprehensive suite of HR support services to ensure that their business continues to operate successfully and delivers against its strategic plans.

Banana Moon is the first client of Chadwick Lawrence to implement the HR service within their business.  The Partnership has evolved following a longstanding relationship between Banana Moon and Chadwick Lawrence, established through Partner Nils O’Donoghue.

Their partnership with Banana Moon began with the HR Team understanding their business needs and supporting the business with their HR administration function, through the implementation of a bespoke software package.  Chadwick Lawrence assisted with the initial system set up and data conversion, including the finalising of all reporting lines and work flows and the general day to day maintenance and administration of all holidays and rules, sickness absence, work patterns and notice periods.  The service also includes operational support including the drafting of all contracts, documents and letters on behalf of the business.

In addition, Chadwick Lawrence’s new HR offering also supports the business in the design and implementation of HR people processes and procedures to ensure that the business not only remains compliant with their quality standards but supports its staff.  Examples of these services including the design and implementation of a structured absence management programme, return to work programme, structured probation period review process and welcome process for all new starters.
