Business for Calderdale Turns 10!
Chadwick Lawrence solicitors are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Business for Calderdale networking organisation with an anniversary dinner in Elland.
To celebrate the anniversary, Business for Calderdale will be holding a dinner at Berties Banqueting Rooms on 18th April. The night will champion of local businesses, as well as reminiscing on the last 10 years. The guest speaker is Sir Gary Verity, and guest enjoy Spencer Stokes from BBC Look North hosting the event.
The organisation was established by Chadwick Lawrence in 2008, built on the idea of bringing together a diverse selection of businesses in the Calderdale region. The aim of the organisation was to encourage businesses and allows businesses to establish a voice in local decisions affecting the region.
Business for Calderdale differs from many other business networking organisations as, rather than meeting at the same venue every month, the meetings take place and are hosted by local businesses. This provides the opportunity to explain exactly what they do to the group and show members around their premises.
As well as regular networking events, the Business for Calderdale group have held a number of special events including dinners with famous Jockey Bob Champion, as well as a special Tour de France event in Ripponden.
There are currently over 50 different businesses who are members of the Business for Calderdale organisation. The membership fee is £100 a year, which allows two representatives from each business to attend.
If you would be interested in attending the event, both members and non-members of the networking organisation are welcome. Tickets are £30 for members and £35 for non-members, with tables of 10 still available.
