Broken promises?
People often make promises. If a promise has been made and relied upon by the person to whom it was made and is later broken, it may be possible to bring a claim.
For example, if an adult child gives up work to look after a parent on the promise of financial benefit that is subsequently withdrawn, that is likely to be considered unfair and compensation may be awarded by the court.
If you have lost out following a broken promise, please contact Simon Ingham or Kathryn Hunt today on 0113 225 8811 for a no-obligation discussion.
